Choose one of the following activities as a way to further reflect on the Sunday readings:
- Jesus’ teachings touch our lives. Ask family members to share their thoughts on the following questions: What are your three favorite teachings of Jesus? Why?
- In the Gospel reading, Jesus was touched by the masses of people. As a family, undertake a project of caring for something or someone not being cared for. Reflect on the importance of care and what happens to people and things that do not receive the proper care.
- Jesus offered the disciples rest. What do you do and where do you go when you feel overwhelmed? Take time to rest during the week. Find a quiet place, and invite Jesus to join you and rest.
- Invite a minister from your Parish or another community leader to your house for dinner and relaxation with your family.
