Choose one of the following activities as a way to further reflect on the Sunday readings:
- God’s laws, including the Ten Commandments, were given so that we can live in love and peace with God, with one another, and with all of creation. As a family, choose a commandment as your special focus for action this week. Near the end of the week, share with other family members what choices you made and the consequences of your actions.
- As a family, choose a way to put faith into action this week. Ask each family member to offer suggestions. Each member chooses one action for this week.
- Post a list of family rules. Have each member select a rule he or she has difficulty following. Discuss as a family how each member understands the rules.
- Read stories from the lives of the saints. Talk about how their faith in Jesus showed through their words and actions.
