Choose one of the following activities as a way to further reflect on the Sunday readings:

• Talk with your family about being a good neighbor. Discuss ways in which your family can welcome Jesus into your home through the presence of a neighbor or stranger.
• Read together as a family the Gospel reading from this Sunday, Luke 10:25-37. Discuss the following: Who are the most feared or misunderstood members of your community? Do you consider them to be your neighbors?
• As a family, plan how you can be Good Samaritans and reach out to someone in need. Discuss who in your family, school or neighborhood needs to be shown compassion and kindness this week.
• Together as a family, make cut-out cookies in the shape of hearts and have everyone help decorate them. Share a plate of cookies with a neighbor.
