Choose one of the following activities to further reflect on the Sunday readings:

• Provide materials for each family member to cut out a paper heart shape. Invite each family member to think of one person in their life that is difficult to deal with and write the name of the person on their heart. Perhaps it is a colleague or a classmate. Maybe it is a family member. Once everyone has written a name, pray togethering asking God to bless these people.
• Think about how you live together as a family. Talk about how your family follows Jesus’ teaching to "bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you." Write these examples on a piece of paper and hang it in your home where it can serve as a reminder to always act with mercy.
• Jesus teaches that if we "give, gifts will be given" to us. Invite each family member to share about a time when they were generous or did an act of service and they received gifts in return.
