Choose one of the following activities as a way to further reflect on the Sunday readings:

• Read the Apostles’ Creed together as a family. Discuss how Jesus’ Resurrection was a foretelling of our future resurrection and spending forever with God and our loved ones.
• Look back at the miracles performed in 1 Kings Chapter 17. Act them out. Discuss what the people who witnessed these miracles must have felt when they saw with their own eyes Elijah perform them. How was the raising of the widow’s son similar to Jesus’ raising of the widow’s son in Luke 7:11-17? Find all the similarities.
• Discuss how the loss of loved ones to death is just a temporary separation. Pray for them and for peace for survivors while waiting to see them again.
