Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Choose one of the following activities as a way to further reflect on the Sunday readings:

In the Gospel, Jesus heals people and performs miracles. Discuss the following questions with your family: Why do you think Jesus heals people? How do you reach out to Jesus when you need help?
With faith in Jesus, miracles and healing happens. Pray for someone who needs God’s strength and healing in their lives.
Discuss what the family can do to bring more happiness and joy into the life of someone who is suffering. Make plans to visit this person.
Jesus performed many miracles. Miracles happen all around us every day. Plan a day trip with your family. Have each family member share one miracle he or she sees in the world.
