Lifelong Catechesis
Forming Catholic identity across generationsFor a large part of the liturgical year, we devote ourselves to listening to the mystery of Christ in all its aspects unfolded as we seek God's truth and understanding.
Miguel Agustin Pro, Priest and Martyr
Miguel lived in Mexico during a time when the Christian faith and the Catholic Church were persecuted and the faithful were forced to abandon their faith. Miguel became a Jesuit priest who worked among the remaining Catholics, often in disguise to avoid authorities. He was finally captured and brought before a firing squad. At the time of his death, Miguel opened his arms like Christ on the cross, and photos of him dying in this manner were spread throughout Mexico, re-enlivening people’s faith!
