Lifelong Catechesis
Forming Catholic identity across generationsFor a large part of the liturgical year, we devote ourselves to listening to the mystery of Christ in all its aspects unfolded as we seek God's truth and understanding.
Gianna Beretta Molla, Wife and Mother
Gianna was a married woman who lived in the 1900s in Italy. She was a wife and mother, and she was also a doctor who cared for other women with children. She died in 1962 from complications arising from a pregnancy and birth, and she is honored today because she chose to support the life of her child when she could have chosen her own. She reminds us how important it is to support the welfare of the living, at every age and stage of life. It is our high Christian calling to support human dignity and to offer care and love for all people.
